Cargo tracking note is an international cargo verification solution and cargo procedure in accordance with International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code). Most African countries are members of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and has almost ratified all international conventions like the Safety of life at Sea (SOLAS Convention), ISPS Code, etc. After the September 11th terrorist attack on the USA, countries established a tracking procedure of marine cargoes in accordance with ISPS Code because of its security, safety and economic benefits.
